The Magnetically Induced Streamers? around the HH 211 Protostellar System

ABSTRACT :
We present ALMA Band 3 and 6 polarimetric continuum observations toward the Class 0 protostellar system HH 211. Three dust streams were found around the HH 211 protostellar envelope, two of which are aligned with large-scale magnetic fields. Large-scale magnetic fields are considered to guide the accretion streams toward the HH 211 protostar. We also detect clear toroidal and hourglass-shaped, pinched magnetic fields around HH 211, indicative of a magnetically regulated collapse of the protostellar system. This observational evidence suggests that HH 211 forms in a strong magnetic field environment.
